The next session will begin Monday, February 27, 2012. We'll meet every Monday from 6:30-8:00 pm. First we’ll exercise to lively Christian music. Then we’ll listen to a presentation, followed by small group discussion, fellowship, and prayer. This is a free program!

This is a great opportunity to meet other women and to get closer to God. We have fun too! Sign-up will begin in January.

Parish Nurse Ministry

The "mission" of parish nursing is the intentional integration of the practice of faith with the practice of nursing, so that people can achieve wholeness in, with, and through the community of faith in which parish nurses serve.

What the Parish Nurse does:
The Parish Nurse is a licensed, registered/practical nurse who interacts holistically (mind, body & spirit) with members of the congregation and the community. They provide health information on pertinent health topics; assess physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; collaborate with the clergy staff in referring individuals to community resources; and coordinates blood pressure and other group health screenings.
The parish nurses meet each month. For further information, send an e-mail by clicking here, or call the Parish Office at, 734-847-2805.

Ushers needed

Would you consider serving our parish as an usher at Mass? This ministry is open to both men & women young or a bit older, married or single. You will be trained, so no experience is needed.

We are especially in need of ushers for the Saturday 5:30 pm Mass and the Sunday 7:30 pm Mass. Please call the Parish Office, 847-2805 to volunteer.

Elijah Cup

The “Elijah Cup” is a chalice that is presented at the end of Mass each Sunday to a family to take home and use as a focal point to pray daily for an increase in religious vocations. Each week the “Elijah Cup” is passed to other families.
If you would like your family to receive the “Elijah Cup”, please call the Parish Office, 734-847-2805.

Eucharistic Adoration

Comfort Blankets

Our Parish Nurses sponsor a "Comfort Blanket" ministry, offering Comfort blankets to those in need of prayers, love, and care in times of need.
We have put blanket "kits" together for those who wish to sew at home, and we will continue to meet here at church.
We can always use donations of fabric (cotton blends that can be cut to 9" blocks), labor, and money (to buy quilt batting). Donations can be left at the parish office.

Parish Library

Are you ready to open the door to a fuller union with God?  Joyce Rupp’s book “Open the Door” may help you do just that.  This book is arranged so that you intentionally set aside time each day for 6 weeks to “delve inside yourself.”  “The door to our heart awaits opening but our fast paced culture detours us.”  Reflect, meditate and pray and see where the door leads you. Why not check it out today.

Our library, located in Room 1 is a great resource for everyone. We have Catholic books, periodicals, DVDs, CD, videos and casette tapes. Materials cover a wide range of faith-based topics. There is no charge & never a late fee! Simply check out materials and return them when you are finished.
