Youth Activities
Youth at Our Lady of Mount Carmel participate in Christian Life through a variety of ministries, services, and activities designed to promote development of spirit, mind, and body. All youth are welcome and encouraged to participate in one or more activities to build fellowship and faith. All youth activities follow Archdiocesan guidelines regarding the health and safety of our young parishioners.

2004 Girls CYO League Basketball Co-Champions
CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Sports
In cooperation with the Archdiocese of Detroit, Mount Carmel participates in CYO sports activities. The intent is to build Christian fellowship and encourage good health, physical fitness, sports skills, and good sportsmanship while promoting Catholic Christian values.
Basketball and volleyball programs for girls and boys grades 5 - 12 are offered, where teams led by adult volunteers compete with youth from other parishes across the Monroe Vicariate. Children of all skill levels and experience are invited to join and coaches work hard to ensure that all have an opportunity to participate. There is a fee to participate and uniforms are provided. Movie Night
Children, grades 1 - 6, are invited to participate in our monthly Movie night. Recently released family videos are shown on a Friday evening in a fun atmosphere. Refreshments are provided and adults are welcome to stay with their young person, if desired. Watch for titles, dates, and times on the Latest News page.
